1- The Department of Forestry and Anti-Desertification at the Ministry of Agriculture invited the President of the Association, Muwaffaq Saleh Mubarka, to visit Al-Dibs Forest near Kirkuk during the period 15–17/2/2019, accompanied by the Head of the Forestry Department and several department employees, to inspect the degraded condition of the forest caused by military operations and encroachments (covering an area of about 1,000 dunams), and to submit a proposed action plan for its rehabilitation and transform it into a productive, self-funding forest, for which sustainable development plans were prepared.
2- On January 21–22, 2019, the Nasiriyah Museum site was visited upon an invitation from the Dhi Qar Provincial Council through Association member Mr. Hameed Al-Zamil, to plant 180 seedlings of various drought-resistant tree species donated by the Association. This was done in cooperation with volunteers from the Al-Mashhoof Association, the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate, museum staff, and the governorate, under the guidance of Association members.
3- On 26/1/2019: Work began on installing an iron rebar frame for a shade canopy to raise the Association's seedlings at the nursery of expert Ali Al-Saadi (founder and administrative board member), who generously permitted the Association to use the shade canopy area for this purpose. Participating in the work were Mr. Najah Karim—may God have mercy on him—(administrative board member) and expert Ali Al-Saadi.
4- Between April 14–20, 2019, the Association participated in the International Flower Festival at Al-Zawraa Park, supported by Salsabil Nursery and Ali Al-Saadi Nursery, and with the cooperation of several administrative board and founding members. The Association received the "Creativity Medal" from the Mayoralty of Baghdad.
5- On 29/4/2019, several employees from the Department of Forestry and Anti-Desertification visited the Association's nursery within the Ali Al-Saadi Nursery in Zafaraniyah to inspect its status and discuss areas of mutual cooperation.
6- On 21/5/2019, the Association supplied the "Tamkeen" Afforestation Initiative with 684 seedlings, sending them to the Ksaiba Forest and Reserve to support the initiative, in cooperation with Salsabil Nursery and Ali Al-Saadi Nursery.
7- On 5/5/2019, Association President Muwaffaq Saleh Mubarka visited the Al-Rasheed Forest Nursery near Al-Youssifiyah at the request of Ms. Rawya Miz'el (Director of the Department of Forestry and Anti-Desertification) to offer advice and provide the nursery with available various seeds, in cooperation with agricultural engineer Muhannad Kazim, who is in charge of the nursery.
8- Participation in the meeting of the Supreme National Committee for Combating Desertification at the Ministry of Environment on 15/5/2019.
9- Submitting the initial proposal for the rehabilitation plan of Al-Dibs Forest on 12/6/2019 to the Director of the Department of Forestry and Anti-Desertification, along with a PowerPoint presentation to department staff on the subject by the Association President, agricultural engineer Muwaffaq Saleh Mubarka. Mr. Qais Awad Al-Naqeeb (Assistant Director) suggested preparing a comprehensive economic feasibility study on the topic, a proposal accepted by the Association President.
10- On 24/8/2019, a visit was made to the organic fertilizer factory and nursery of agricultural expert Adnan Al-Hassouni in Al-Suwaira for mutual cooperation to promote tree planting culture in Al-Suwaira, and to tour the plant canopy, factory, cold storage facilities for dates and potatoes, and other activities concerning fabric pots that can be planted with seedlings, as well as methods to protect date clusters by wrapping them in special fabric bags.
11- On 28/8/2019, the Association President, assisted by agricultural expert Ali Al-Saadi, harvested Paulownia tree fruits at the nursery to collect seeds for Paulownia propagation and distribute the remainder to interested parties.
12- Organizing an environmental session at "The Station" (Al-Mahatta) site near Al-Masbah Intersection on 30/8/2019, organized by agricultural engineer Muhannad Kazim and attended by representatives of civil society organizations interested in environmental and humanitarian affairs in Baghdad.
13- Mr. Hussein Ali Ghani (founding member) visited the Association's nursery on 9/9/2019 in the presence of Association President Muwaffaq Mubarka and expert Ali Al-Saadi.
14- On 12/9/2019, practical one-day training was provided by expert Ali Al-Saadi for a female student studying in the Department of Anti-Desertification at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences / University of Baghdad.
15- On 20/9/2019, the Al-Rasheed Forest Nursery was provided with a second batch of seeds to be used in tree-planting activities for the "Tamkeen" campaign.
16- On 20/9/2019, Association President Muwaffaq Saleh Mubarka delivered a second PowerPoint presentation at "The Station" (Al-Mahatta) to young volunteers in the "Tamkeen" campaign on the importance of trees, afforestation, its types, and its environmental impact.
17- On October 28–29, 2019, the Association participated in the exhibition and seminars of Al-Nahrain University in Baghdad as part of the International Biotechnology Conference titled "Biotechnology is a Fundamental Pillar for the Advancement of Sciences." The Association and expert Adnan Al-Hassouni presented their services and products to the public, and the Association received the Shield of Excellence from the university.
18- On 27/9/2019, founder Hussein Ali Ghani and the Association President visited the Agricultural Cooperation Company in Al-Jadriya to discuss the feasibility of creating a tree green belt around and within a 5,000-dunam farm; however, due to the company's refusal to pay the high cost of the study, the Association could not proceed with the project.
19- On 23/10/2019, the Association participated in a symposium organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences / University of Baghdad, titled "With Science and Faith We All Stand Tall," on the occasion of Arab Palm Day.
20- Conducting an economic feasibility study by agricultural engineer Muwaffaq Mubarka for establishing a 37-dunam forest for Ghammas Municipality – Al-Diwaniyah between 15 and 20/12/2019, proposing site-appropriate, multi-use, fast-growing tree species with high economic and environmental value.
21- On 26/12/2019, participating in a symposium at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences / University of Baghdad titled "Monitoring and Combating Desertification Using Remote Sensing Technologies and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)."
